| So, with the semester in full swing and at this point so many things are due, things just seem to get more and more crazy the closer to the end of the semester I get.
I'm supposed to be working on a paper for my class "Survey of Exceptional Children". However, I've been putting it off for a good while talking to a good old friend on AIM (Andy Conway). He helped me find an article becasue I couldn't access my school's EBSCO Host from the online library, stinkin East Central. It's so frustrating that the hours for the library aren't geared for college students, but rather high school students or something like that!
Andy helped me decide on a topic, "Cystic fibrosis in children" which is going to be interesting. We shall see how the paper turns out! I got my midterm grades a week or so ago, and that was pretty exciting! I'm passing which is a good thing and that means I'm half way done with the semester which is even more exciting!
Anyway, I better get back to writing this paper its due tomorrow. I also need to decide what classes I want to take next semester because pre enrollment begins next week! Oh, and I take the OGET this weekend, pray for me if you think of it!

| I've got my electronics in line now (Macbook Pro, iPod, PC, etc.). I wil have finished five books over the summer break (Black, Red, White, House, & Eldest), well House I'll be done with shortly. Anyway, I think that's rather good for me. I got new checks and that's pretty fancy, they are Superman checks. Pretty much amazing! At least in my opinion. Watched a lot of good movies over the summer as well. The best were: Transformers, Antwone Fisher, Life is Beautiful, King Kong (which I just recently saw), and World Trade Center. Those were probably the best ones that I remember and would recommend to others.
With all that being said...it's all coming to a close. Things are about to get much more crazy with school being thrown into the usual mix and all! I guess it is true what's been said "All good things must come to an end!" Well, I reckon all the enjoyable things are that way, except that's not really true with God, he doesn't work that way, so I take that back. We must move on, "From glory to glory!" I look forward to the semester as chaotic as it will be!
I'm off for now to watch this lovely movie!
| While technology has its somewhat disappointing side, it also has a woonderful side. Allow me to give only a few examples!
1.) Communication is made much easier and more efficient with email, facebook, myspace, and IM. 2.) I no longer have to carry around that gigantic case of CD's, but rather I have my hand size iPod. 3.) Esther, my computer, she talks to me. Tells me what time it is, who's online, and so on. 4.) I can take a class at ECU online rather than sit in a dull class room, I can waist more time on the web! 5.) I can check up on my youth group through various "hot sites" (ie: myspace and facebook, because they are biggest right now) 6.) I can have conversations with people through messages, without ever talking to them face to face. 7.) I can find nearly anything I want on the world wide waste of time. 8.) Podcasts. Need I say more! 9.) Photo storage. (my computer recently crashed and I was able to restore most of my old photos) 10.) The movie world has grown in wonder on so many levels because of technology. 11.) My phone has become my personal computer for crying out loud!
I'm sure there's so much more that I could mention, but I'll leave it at that for now. The point is that while I hate it, I very much love and enjoy the ways of our technical advances. Sure, I could live without them, and everyone else would be just fine without me having them, but do I utulize them technologies laid before me in the ways that I should? Do I glorify God, my creator with these things, do I give him praise with them and through them? Not often enough that's for sure. Anyway, that's what I've been thinking of, let me know what you think. Add or drop some to my list!
| It was so very good to go back to Rockford and see so many good friends The bad parts were not seeing everyone else that I love so dearly. The major disappointment was knowing that most of those people were coming into town right after I left and therefore much disappointment.
Sometimes it really stinks having a job and not being able to hang out with my friends when I go and visit them like I want. On the other hand so many different oppurtunities became available to me through my little trip. It was good to hang out with some key people and show my very good friend Kyle around my old home...

| Well, it's time. I've got a friend who desires to come and see what Rockford Master's Commission is all about! Therefore, I'll be arriving in Rockford, IL for Sunday for morning church. So if you are in Rockford and would desire to hang out, I would love to make the time to catch up!
Anyway, just thought I'd let my friends now I'll be in town! Much love to you all! Hope to see you soon!
